WT&F | Gaels Close Regular Season with Program 4x100m Relay Record and Strong Performances at West Coast Last Chance

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The Saint Mary's women's track and field team closed out the regular season at the West Coast Last Chance on Saturday afternoon with a program-record performance in the 4x100 relay and multiple personal bests.
Freshman Courtney Fitzgibbon continued her season of success in the 3000-meter steeplechase as she crossed the finish line in 11:02.95. Fitzgibbon remains the second fastest athlete in program history in the event and now holds three of the top ten all-time fastest times for the Gaels.
In the 4x100 meter relay, Madison Dwyer, Allie Davis-Libiano, Terra Pandolfi, and Faviola Quintana finished with a time of 50.10 seconds, earning them the program record.
Jane Harig led the way in the 3000 meters and placed sixth overall with a personal-best time of 10:19.58.
In the 400-meter, Dwyer placed third overall and crossed the finish line in 58.35 seconds. Dwyer remains the fourth fastest athlete in program history and owns two of the top ten times for Saint Mary's.
Davis-Libiano paced the Gaels in the 100 meters and placed sixth overall in 12.99 seconds, while Quintana followed with her best time of 13.04 seconds.
Davis-Libiano also delivered a strong showing in the 200 meters, placing fifth overall crossing the finish line in 26.19 seconds. The mark ranks her as the the third fastest athlete in program history. Quintana earned another personal best time as she finished the race in 27.18 seconds, while Breanna Bailey joined in the success and recorded her best time of 28.92.
Freshman Kylie Wisley finished the 1500-meter with her personal time of 5:15.04, shaving just over three seconds off her previous best.
The Gaels throwing team saw success in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. Mychaela Parker earned her personal best mark in the shot put (37' 4"), while Alexys Carlson recorded her personal best in the hammer throw with a mark of 143' 9", and Eliza Wong earned her personal best throw of 22' 9" in the shot put.
The Gaels wrapped up a successful regular season with strong overall performances across the board.
