SB | Gaels Check in at No. 23 in Week Four of the D1 Softball Mid-Major Top-25

LOS ANGELES — For the first time this season, the Saint Mary's softball team has been added to the D1 Softball Mid-Major Top-25 rankings, checking in at No. 23, following a 3-2 weekend at the TAMU Invitational. Under the tutelage of Head Coach Sonja Garnett, the Gaels softball program has risen into a golden age of success, headlined by the first two West Coast Conference titles in program history. This recognition shows that the Gaels look to be on track to continue this recent run of success.
Also on this list are San Diego State (No. 7), Long Beach State (No. 12) and Louisiana (No. 22), all of which the Gaels defeated in the past two weeks. West Coast Conference rival LMU also has earned their spot in the mid-major rankings, coming in at No. 11. The full rankings can be seen below:
