AZUSA, Calif. — Saint Mary's women's track and field delivered a strong set of performances at the Bryan Clay Invitational this weekend.
In the 800 meters, Averie Peterson led the way for the Gaels, recording her personal best time of 2:16.20. Ava Luczkow followed with her own personal best of 2:17.81.
In just her second collegiate 3000-meter steeplechase, Courtney Fitzgibbon finished with her best time of 11:02.32, ranking her as the second-fastest athlete in program history.
Luczkow also led the way for Saint Mary's in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:47.57, while Zoe Leach followed her with her best time of 4:53.16.
Saint Mary's will return to action on Friday, May 1, at the Payton Jordan Invitational hosted by Stanford.
