BSB | Gaels Are Dancin' for the Second Straight Season; Four-Seed in Los Angeles Regional

LAFAYETTE, Calif. – The Saint Mary's baseball team had its named called for its second straight NCAA Regional appearance and third overall Monday morning, earning the four-seed in the Los Angeles Regional hosted by number one overall seed UCLA. The team and Gael community gathered at Hideout Kitchen in downtown Lafayette for a fun and welcoming environment accompanied by local media members to watch the Selection Show.
Joining the Gaels in LA will be Virginia Tech as the two-seed and Big West Tournament winner Cal Poly as the three-seed. Saint Mary's will visit Jackie Robinson Stadium for the first time since 2020 and take on the Bruins for their ninth all-time meeting in program history. Saint Mary's and UCLA will open the regional in game one of the weekend, slated for a 12 p.m. first pitch on ESPNU.
