Coach Cadell joined Coach Moore’s staff and Gael’s baseball in the summer of 2022 as the Director of Player Development.
In his first fall with the Saint Mary's, Cadell coordinated field operations and provided off field support for student athletes. Off the field the Gaels saw the team reach new heights in the classroom as the team cum GPA hit 3.13.
Cadell spent the 2022 season as the Head JV Baseball Coach at Rocklin High School in Rocklin, Calif. In his lone season, the JV Thunder compiled a 10-8 record. The team tied for the league lead in series wins with 5. The pitching staff’s starting pitchers thrived, leading the Sierra Foothill League in starting pitching ERA and K/BB Ratio.
Previously, Cadell spent 3 seasons with the University of Arizona Wildcats' baseball program. After spending 2 seasons as an Undergraduate Assistant and Bullpen Catcher, Cadell served as Assistant Director of Player Development, working alongside student-athletes. Cadell obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and a Certificate in Sports Management as an undergraduate in Tucson.
Originally from Park Ridge, Illinois, Cadell grew up in Rocklin, Calif. and spent 4 seasons as a member of the Rocklin High School Thunder baseball program.
