Hoster joined the Gaels prior to the fall of 2020. Prior to Saint Mary's, he served as head coach and assistant coach with the varsity and junior varisty teams at Dublin High School and was also a head coach for the Dublin United Soccer League. He currently also coaches at Walnut Creek Soccer Club for the 2008 Boys White and Blue teams and led his club to a Region 3/4 North Championship win in the fall of 2019.Â
Hoster played for a year at Las Positas College before finishing his collegiate career at Sacramento State. With the Hornets, he ranked third in goals scored and fourth in points during his senior season. He graduated from Sac State in 2016 with a degree in psychology.Â
