Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2024): Appeared in 13 games and made 13 starts while recording 1,170 minutes of action... Bentley was the team's starting keeper for the majority of the season, recording a team high 44 saves and a 2.15 GAA... Bentley was in goal for both of the team's wins and recorded two shutouts... Recorded a season high seven saves vs. Sacramento State. 

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Sam Bentley joins the Gaels men's soccer program as a true freshman out of Hertfordshire, England. There, he was a member of Luton Town FC where they made it to the round of 16 in the FA Youth Cup. They were also Youth Alliance South/East League winners and Merit League South champions.
