AS A JUNIOR (2025): Appeared in eight games, including her first collegiate start at designated player against UNLV (Feb. 28)...Collected a pair of hits and a pair of RBI for the year…Her first hit of the year came as a pinch hit RBI single at UCSB (Feb. 27)...Her second was also a pinch hit RBI base knock, this time on the road against Idaho State (Mar. 22).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2024): Made seven pinch hit appearances in her second season with the Gaels...Collected her first two collegiate hits and her first two collegiate RBI on the season...Made her collegiate debut against Cal Poly on 2/11...Collected her first collegiate hit, a single, against Montana on 2/24...Her second collegiate hit was a two RBI double to right centerfield at San Diego in the Gaels historic 17-3 victory over the Toreros.

AS A FRESHMAN (2023): Did not play during her first collegiate season.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Graduate of Valencia High School...during her senior season, she hit .368 and had a .561 slugging percentage, totaling a 1.016 OPS...had nearly as many extra-base hits (nine) as she did singles (12), and was named First Team All-League during the process...also was a standout in the classroom, where she was a scholar-athlete during her junior and senior seasons...her career began in great fashion as she was named Rookie of the Year for the Tigers in 2019...a multi-sport athlete, Cañedo also lettered in golf during high school, and won the Coach's award in 2022.
