Hendro Yauw joined the Saint Mary's Sports Performance department during the 2021-22 school year as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance.
Yauw comes to Moraga after spending over a year at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, where he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for 13 varsity teams. He conducted and implemented their strength and conditioning programs, with a focus on men's and women's basketball. Among his many accomplishments, he spearheaded efficient injury rehabilitation and worked closely with the sports medicine staff to conduct physical therapy activities.
Among his other collegiate stops, Yauw has spent time at Ramapo College of New Jersey (Head of Sports Performance Coordinator), and Concordia College (Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach). Yauw also was a Chinese Olympic Performance Coach for Chinese athletes focused on the 2020 Summer Olympics, and the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Yauw received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from CSUN and his Master of Education in Athletic Coaching from Northcentral University.
