Katie, a native of Orinda, CA, is in her fifth year with Saint Mary's after being hired in January 2019, and her first as Associate Athletic Trainer. She is responsible for Saint Mary’s College softball and rowing teams.
Prior to Saint Mary's, Katie worked at Academy of Art University for three years. At Academy of Art, some of her main responsibilities were women’s soccer, baseball, women’s basketball as well as a wide range of administrative duties.
She established the athletic program’s mental health policy as well as revising all sports medicine policies and procedures.
Katie attended Oregon State University and earned a bachelors’ degree in athletic training in 2015. Afterwards she attended San Jose State University in 2017 and earned her masters’ degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training.
Katie established her love for sports medicine after working closely with her high school’s athletic trainer and sports medicine program. She is a member of National Athletic Trainers’ Association and lives in Pleasant Hill with her husband.
