South Africa native, Divan Du Plooy is in his first season with Saint Mary’s. Du Plooy previously attended South Plains College. During his time there, he recorded his best 8k time (23:15.2), finishing third overall out of 53 runners and earned his best 1500 meter time clocking in at 3:45.94 and finishing third. The junior recently secured a ninth place finish at the 2025 WCC Cross Country Championships, earning him First Team All-WCC honors, making him the first Gaels runner to have received this distinction since 2016. Du Plooy is currently working to receive his degree in Kinesiology.
