Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in nine matches for the Gaels in 2021 ... registered two shots with one on goal against UC Riverside on Sept. 3 and against CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 10... played a total of 163 minutes, with a season-high 50 minutes against UC Riverside.
AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Played in 10 matches (season played during spring of 2021) … made her collegiate debut on Feb. 14 against San Francisco … played a season-high 42 minutes and took a shot against Pacific on Feb. 20.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Mitchell was a tri-sport athlete at Aptos High and appeared on the varsity soccer, volleyball, and track and field teams during her time there. She spent all four years with the varsity club in soccer and appeared everywhere but goalkeeper, picking up accolades at nearly every position. She was named MVP of her league, Midfielder of the Year, and Second Team Defender of the Year and helped her team claim the SCCAL title once. Mitchell also grew up riding horses and competing in local barrel racing events.
