AS A SENIOR (2021)
Indoor: One of four Gaels to appear in every match during the 2021 season, and one of two Gaels to play in every set (101)...finished the year second on the team with 431 assists, splitting time as one of the team's two setters...her 20 aces were tied for third-best on the team, and stood as a career-best...made the record book on October 2 at Portland by racking up six service aces, becoming just one of 10 Gaels all-time to record at least six aces in a match...her season-best in assists also came against Portland, this time on October 28...had 11 digs in that match, and had 16 in the match before against Santa Clara, the most she recorded on the year.

AS A JUNIOR (2020-2021)
Indoor: Appeared in all 17 matches during the 2021 spring season, and made four starts...finished second on the team with 191 assists, spending time as one of the two primary setters for Saint Mary's...posted 18 kills and her best kills/set mark of 0.32 at the setter position...one of six Gaels with 10+ service aces (12)...three times, she posted 10+ digs and assists in a match, including 17 digs and 15 assists against San Francisco on March 13.

Beach: Did not appear during the 2021 beach season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
Indoor: Saw action in 26 matches and 89 sets over the course of the 2019 season...Recorded 306 assists on the year with an average of 3.44 per set both of which were second best on the team...Collected 21 kills and 11 service aces total...Earned a season-high 30 assists against Southern Utah on September 5.

Beach: Did not appear during the 2020 beach season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)
Indoor: Played in 27 matches and 100 sets during her freshman year with Gaels ... Hit .214 with 128 digs with her season-high 12 coming during the match against Nevada on Sept. 13 ... Collected her season-high 26 assists during the same match against Nevada ... Had the second most number of assists on the team with 390 ... Recorded 4 digs during the NCAA Tournament match versus #22 Washington.

Beach: Did not play on the 2019 Beach squad as a freshman

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Thompson will settle into the setter position at Saint Mary's after displaying all-around talents at Northridge High School in Layton, Utah ... Thompson was a four-year letterwinner with the Knights, earning first team all-region and team Most Valuable Player honors for two straight years (2016-17) ... As an outside hitter, she hit an outstanding .423 with 228 kills as a senior in 2017 while helping Northridge High finish sixth at the state tournament.

PERSONAL: father Vern played basketball at San Diego State from 1989-91, shooting 44.7% in his two seasons where he was a part of 26 Aztec wins.

Favorite volleyball memory: My very first collegiate game I played was against the Utah Utes and we beat them which was awesome because that’s my home state school.
