MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's beach volleyball team closed out its third home match of the season with a sweep of Feather River College on Thursday.

The #17/RV Gaels moved to 11-3 on the season after the win and handed Feather River College (5-2) its second loss of the season. This is Saint Mary's fifth win in a row and third sweep in five games.

Every Saint Mary's pair swept their matches. Some duos were able to hold their opponents to single digits but the Gael's No. 5 pair of Madi Wilkerson and Sienna Young held Taylor Byrom and Summer Williams below 10 points in both sets.

On Monday, Saint Mary's was ranked #17 in the nation by DiG Magazine. This is the highest ranking the Gaels have achieved this season after finishing last season ranked #17 by DiG Magazine as well.

The Gaels will next head south to Santa Cruz on Saturday for the first double-header of the weekend against San Francisco and #1/1 Southern California
