FRESNO, Calif. – The Saint Mary's volleyball team beat Cal Baptist 3-1 on Friday afternoon on the second day of the Fresno State Invitational at the Save Mart Center in Fresno. With the win, the Gaels start off 2-0 in the invitational and move to 3-2 overall on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gaels took the first two sets against the Lancers, 25-19 and 25-22. After falling 19-25 in the third set, Saint Mary's took care of business in the fourth set, pulling out a 25-23 win.

The overall attack was led by seniors
Lindsey Calvin and
Lindsey Knudsen for the second straight game. Calvin had 17 kills, hit .516, recorded eight digs and had six blocks. Knudsen had her second straight double-double with 17 kills and 10 digs.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
3 – The Gaels had three players with a double-double, including
Sienna Young, who had 12 kills and 13 digs, Alexsa Parker had 38 assists and 11 digs and Knudsen's 17 kills and 10 digs.

22 – Freshman libero
Kelsey Knudsen had a career day recording 22 digs. Knudsen also added a career-high 3 aces during the match.
