THOUGHTS FROM TRAVIS CLARKE
- "We are excited to get back into playing games this spring. We get a few younger players back from injury and a new transfer student athlete and it is going to be nice to incorporate them back into the team."
- "We play a good range of games this spring. Sonoma State, San Francisco State and Stanislaus are three of the top DII programs in the West Region and each team plays a slightly different style of play. Stanford and Cal are two of the top programs in the country and San Jose State is the reigning champion of the Mountain West Conference."
- "We are positive that we will learn a lot this spring about ourselves and how competitive we can be entering next fall."
NEW ADDITION
Saint Mary's welcomed Paris Fox this winter as the freshman transferred from Rice University after appearing in four games for the Owls.
"Paris is someone who can come in and help us in a few areas of need," said head coach Travis Clarke. "She is great in the air, can connect passes in the midfield and her ball striking is great. We are excited to have her start this January."
The midfielder grew up in the Bay Area and played prep at Archbishop Mitty in San Jose, Calif. alongside Hailey Prentice.
