SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Saint Mary's had three players earn All-WCC recognition as announced by the conference on Wednesday with sophomore Mariia Kozyreva earning honors in both singles and doubles.

Kozyreva was elected to First Team Singles and Doubles for the first time in her career after making Second Team on both sides as a freshman. The Saint Petersburg, Russia native was 12-5 this season and 6-3 in conference play in solo play. In her final 10 matches of the season, Kozyreva went 7-3 and is currently ranked No. 113 in the nation.

Kozyreva and Hind Abdelouahid were named First Team Doubles following a stellar spring. The No. 28 ranked duo posted an 11-1 record and was a perfect 8-0 against WCC opponents. The tandem has won 11 straight matches since an early loss in February and had a big win against Gonzaga's No. 22 Sophie Whittle/Graciela Rosas.

Also earning recognition was senior Clementine Clement who was named a Singles Honorable Mention. Clement was 10-4 this year and a team-best 6-1 in conference action. She is currently riding a four-match win streak into the WCC Championship.

Gonzaga's Sophie Whittle was named WCC Player of the Year while San Diego's Solymar Colling earned Freshman of the Year. Head coach of the Toreros Sherri Stephens was crowned Coach of the Year after USD finished 8-1 in WCC play.
