LAST TIME OUT

But the Gaels still split the season series with a good Pac 12 team and are coming off their second-straight WCC series win. Similar to the series win versus BYU it came down to a Sunday rubber match with the Pepperdine Waves that the Gaels won 7-3.

It was huge week for Gavin Napier who was named the Bay Alarm Student Athlete of the Week. He hit .412 this against Stanford and Pepperdine, as he had his 11th multi-hit game and fifth multi-RBI game of the season on Sunday, and the Gaels are now 17-3 when Napier is in the leadoff spot of their order.

Napier slugged .647 last week with a double and his first collegiate home run while driving in five runs and scoring eight.
