HENDERSON, Nev. – Saint Mary's Golf finished strong at the WCC Golf Championships just as they did at BYU last week in round three.

Dylan VanderVeer finished 4-under par after shooting a 68 in what was most likely his final round as a Gael, tying him for the third-best score of any golfer on day three to finish with a 222 overall, all while leading the Gaels with 14 birdies made.

Fellow grad student Michael Slesinksi also had his best round on Saturday finishing right at par with a 72 and with a 222 overall as well.

Kristian Bressum remained the clubhouse leader for the Gaels and had his best round of the tournament, coming in 1-under par with a 71 and finishing at 217 strokes overall.
Connor Reis shot a 74 on the final day to also finish with a score of 222 over the three days.

SMC as a team held steady at seventh overall among the nine teams. The remained atop the leaderboard in pars made as a team with 171 as Reis led all golfers with 40.
