WTEN | Dong and Daries Advance to Round of 16 at ITA Regionals

PALO ALTO, Calif - SMC continued to battle on day two of the ITA Regional Championships with duo Tian Yu Dong and Juliette Daries moving onto the next round.
Dong and Daries competed against Cal Poly duo Melissa LamMette and Romane Mosse where they outlasted the Mustangs 8(7)-7(3) in the tie breaker. The SMC duo will be competing in the round of 16 against a tandem from Fresno State in Yinglak Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini.
In addition to host Stanford, the ITA's Northwest Region schools include Cal, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pacific, Portland, Portland State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle, UC Davis, and Saint Mary's.
Doubles champions and singles champions and finalists from this weekend qualify for the season-ending ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego.
