SACRAMENTO, Calif. – SMC Men's Tennis had a 3-2 lead at the time their match with the Sacramento State Hornets suspended due to rain, but Sac State came back to win 4-3 when the match was resumed on Tuesday.
 
The third set was just about to begin in match at number three between Caelan Potts and Adam Chodur, and Chodur took the third set 6-1. The score was tied 2-2 in the third set in the match at number six between the Gaels' Felipe Rincon and Rudolfs Aksenoks, but the Hornets took the next four points to get the win.

The Gaels got out to a 1-0 lead when they took the doubles point. James Watt and Thibaud Maxant defeated Mate Voros and Mark Keki 6-3. And Potts and Diego Jarry battled Jiri Novak and Chodur to a 7-6 win that went to an 11-9 tiebreaker.

Carlos Ramos Zembrives opened up the singles wins for SMC, with a strong 6-0, 6-3 win. Mathis Moysan defeated Voros 6-3, 6-4 and the Gaels were out to a 3-0 start. But the Hornets would win the next two matches to cut it to one before the rain came.
