Sofia Daryaie Wins Her First Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Award

MORAGA, Calif. - Sofia Daryaie is the first Women's Tennis player to win the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week award this season by going 4-0 in all sets she played in against Eastern Washington and Oregon.
The Freshman out of Los Gatos, California started off the weekend strong by winning the doubles with her duo Stefanie Silva 6-2, and continued to dominate winning her singles match 6-4, 6-3 against the Eagles to help the Gaels to a 6-1 win.
She continued the weekend by winning her doubles 6-3, with her duo Silva, against Oregon. She was one of two Gaels to win the singles match versus Oregon where she outlasted her opponent 6-4, 3-6, 10-8.
