WSOC | Gaels Announce Their Full 2024 Schedule

MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Soccer team has announced their 2024 schedule with eight home games over the course of four months.
Non-Conference Matches
The Gaels will host local Cal Berkeley for an exhibition match on August 10th, at 1:00 p.m. in Moraga.
Saint Mary's will host their first home match of the season on August 15 at 5:00 p.m., going head-to-head with UC Irvine. The Gaels are on the road for back-to-back games as they take on Tennessee Tech in Cookeville at 7:00 p.m. on August 22 and Vanderbilt just three short days later at 12:00 p.m.
Heading back to Moraga, SMC will take on Bakersfield on August 29 and Stanford on September 9, both at 5:00 p.m.
The Gaels will be on the road for the remainder of September, starting off with San Jose State on September 8 at 12:00 p.m., Cal Berkeley on the 12th at 4:00 p.m., and UC Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
Conference Matches
Continuing on the road, the Gaels will close out the month of September opening Conference play in Portland to take on the Pilots on the 28th at 7:00 p.m.
The Gaels will host LMU as their first Conference home match on October 2 at 4:00 p.m. as they defeated the Lions last season in the last match of the season 3-0. This match is followed by another home game on October 5 with new WCC foe Oregon State. Saint Mary's will take on another new WCC opponent, Washington State in Pullman at 7:00 p.m. on October 9.
SMC will be heading to Spokane to take on WCC Women's Soccer Champions Gonzaga who went 6-1-1 during Conference, suffering their only loss to the Gaels. The Bulldogs will be looking for revenge to take down SMC as they hope to avenge a win in front of their home crowd.
Saint Mary's will be at their home stadium for back-to-back games, taking on USF on October 19 and San Diego on October 29, both at 3:00 p.m. The Gaels will stay close as they head to Stockton to take on Pacific on November 2 at 7:00 p.m.
SMC will compete in their last home match of the season on November 6 as they take on Pepperdine at 3:00 p.m. who finished second in the Conference. Closing off the season the Gaels will be in Santa Clara to take on WCCs third place team, the Broncos, at 1:00 p.m. on November 9.
