MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's remained in Moraga but changed their home court for a match as they competed at the local Moraga Country Club Friday afternoon. The Gaels took care of business against Fresno Pacific, knocking off the Sunbirds 5-2 to improve to 5-3 this spring.
Finn Dyer/Thibaud Maxant and Sam Simmonds/Juan Pedro Etchecoin helped clinch the doubles point for the Gaels. Dyer and Maxant improved to 5-2 in doubles play this season while Simmonds and Etchecoin paired up for the third time this season to win their second doubles match as a duo.
Singles wins came from Finn Dyer, Thibaud Maxant, Juan Pedro Etchecoin and Bastien Maxant. All four wins would come in straight sets for the Gaels as they cruised to their fifth win of the season. Their 5-3 record is the best start to a spring season in over a decade, dating back to the early 2010's.

Saint Mary's will finish the weekend with a good test against Cal, hosting the Golden Bears on Saturday, February 14th at 10:30 AM.
