WTEN | Gaels Fall to Long Beach State to Conclude SoCal Roadtrip

LONG BEACH, Calif. — The Saint Mary's women's tennis team battled hard against Long Beach State, but ultimately fell 4-0 to the Beach.
The Gaels went 1-2 in doubles play, with Sophie Stanton and Sydney Wilson earning a 6-4 victory. The duo improved to 2-3 on the season and a perfect 2-0 on the week after winning their doubles match on Thursday against UC Riverside.
Sofia Daryaie, Madison Weekley, and Stanton all had their singles matches go unfinished, while Tiana Fox, Elif Tuana Gunal, and Wilson fell in straight sets as the Beach secured the 4-0 sweep.

LOOKING AHEAD
