SB | WCC Champion Gaels Remain at No. 11 in Latest DI Softball Mid-Major Top-25 and at No. 13 in latest Softball America Mid-Major Power Rankings

LOS ANGELES & MERCER ISLAND, Wash. — Coming off of its eighth consecutive West Coast Conference series win dating back to last season, the Saint Mary's softball team remained at no. 11 in the latest DI Softball Mid-Major Pol and no. 13 in the latest Softball America Mid-Major Power Rankings. This is the sixth consecutive week that the Gaels have appeared in the DI Softball poll and the fourth time this year that they have appeared in the Softball America Rankings.
The Gaels are coming off of a weekend in which they took two of three games against WCC second place foe LMU to lock up at least a share of the conference title. As such, the Gaels are the lone WCC school in either poll, and are joined by fellow regional foes Cal State Fullerton (no. 4/4), Grand Canyon (no. 6/5), Nevada (no. 10/15), UNLV (no. 23/25) and Cal Baptist (NR/no. 21).
