Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 32 games for the Gaels as a junior, the most among pitchers on the team, and made 15 starts...second on the team with 94.1 innings, and posted a 4-12 record with a 4.82 earned run average...recorded the lone save of the year for SMC...one of her best starts of the year came in her second start, where she tossed six innings without allowing an earned run and struck out a career-best seven against San Jose State on February 13...spun a four-hit shutout on April 5 against Fresno State to secure a split on the road against the Bulldogs.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021):
Appeared in 18 games and started in seven … named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … finished second on the roster in appearances and strikeouts (31) and held hitters to the second lowest batting average (.285) while tying for the team lead in saves (2) … threw a complete game shutout to beat UC Davis on Feb. 24 … struck out five hitters while walking none against Fresno State on Apr. 17 … pitched 50 1/3 innings and finished second on the team with a 3.75 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP.

AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Led the team in appearances (18), starts (12), innings pitched (63.2) wins (3), and saves (2) … posted a 4.07 ERA which was third-best on the team … made her debut on Feb. 6 against UC Davis and her first career start the next day against California Baptist … threw three complete games … allowed only one run and six hits in a complete game win over Utah Valley on Feb. 21 … struck out 23 batters and surrendered only one homer … second on the team with a 1.71 WHIP … struck out a season-high four batters in a complete game win over UC Santa Barbara on Mar. 7.


PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Scott was a four-year scholar athlete and achieved Team MVP of her high school all four years ... she was named Second Team All-League as a freshman and sophomore followed by First Team All-League in 2018 ... Scott earned First Team All-League as a senior and was also named League MVP in the same year ... she also played varsity tennis and received the Scholar Student Award and Female Athlete of the Year for her high school.
