AS A SENIOR (2024): Saw time both as a pinch runner and a starting outfielder for the Gaels in her senior year, appearing in 33 games, starting 19 including each of the first seven and final 12 of the season...Saw action in both left and right field...Tallied 16 hits and 16 runs scored...Opened the season with six hits in her first 12 ABs, including her lone extra base hit and lone RBI of the year against Middle Tennessee on 2/9...Upon re-entering the starting lineup on 4/27, embarked on a four game hit streak, going 5-for-12 (0.417) with four runs scored in the final two games at Santa Clara and the first two games at San Diego...Went 2-for-3 with three runs scored in the Gaels WCC Title clinching win over LMU on 5/11...Had a pair of hits and a run scored in the NCAA Regionals (5/17-18)...Named an honorable mention WCC All-Academic honoree for the third consecutive year. 

AS A JUNIOR (2023): Named Preseason All-WCC prior to the start of the year...appeared in 39 games and made 30 starts in her junior season...overcame a slow start to the year to finish with a .314 batting average in WCC games, and hit .304 from April 15-the end of the end of the year...had five runs batted in, four doubles, and four stolen bases...had a 3-3 performance against eventual conference champion LMU on April 22...had a clutch two-run double against Santa Clara on April 16 that wound up being the winning hit in the bottom of the sixth inning.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022):
One of two Gaels to start all 47 games during the 2022 campaign...led SMC with a .309 batting average, and her 42 hits were the seventh-most in the West Coast Conference...led the WCC in triples with four...finished second on the Gaels with five stolen bases in seven tries...eighth-most runs scored in the conference with 21...10 multi-hit games, including four games with three hits and one four-hit game (4-5 at San Diego, April 9, part of a 6-7 performance in a DH)...named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week on May 2 after recording five hits in a home series win against Pacific...boasted a .400 batting average in conference games, with a .489 slugging percentage...named First Team All-WCC for the first time in her career.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021):
Appeared in 31 games and started in 30 … one of only four players to triple … drove in three on a double and scored in a win over Stanford on Mar. 11 … tripled and singled in her only two at bats on Mar. 19 against California Baptist … reached in all three plate appearances against Santa Clara on Apr. 23 with a pair of walks, a double, two driven in and two runs scored … finished the season batting .253 with a .311 on base percentage, 10 RBIs, and 12 runs scored.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Nishihara hails from Hawai'i and brings four years of varsity experience under her belt while serving as her team's captain both in her junior and seniors seasons ... led her team in hits, runs, triples, batting average and stolen bases while helping her school claim second place in their league ... named an All-State Honorable Mention and also won four state championships with her junior club team ... will be studying allied health sciences.
