AS A FIFTH YEAR (2022): Appeared in 39 games and made 35 starts during her final collegiate season...one of five Gaels to score 10+ runs, finishing fifth on the team with 11 runs...hit .239 through March 11, recording hits in 11 of her 16 games played...was involved in seven defensive double plays, tied for the most of any Gaels defender.

AS A SENIOR (2021): Started in 36 games … named to the All-WCC Second Team … one of only four players to triple, which she did on Feb. 13 against Sacramento State … tied for second on the team in runs scored with 12 and hits with 29 … had three hits and two RBI against BYU on Apr. 9 … finished the season with a .254 batting average, a .309 on base percentage, and 11 RBIs.

AS A JUNIOR (2020): Started all 26 games … batted .268 and had a .350 on-base percentage … tied for second place on the team with 19 total hits … led the team with eight hit-by-pitches ... laid down a team-high eight sacrifices ... knocked in seven runs and scored nine times … went 3-for-4 against Utah State on Feb. 28 … went 6-for-11 with a double over a three-game stretch from Feb. 19 to Feb. 21 ... recorded two doubles on Mar. 1 against UC Davis ... went 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in 43 games with 41 starts...recorded her first hit at Saint Mary’s on Feb. 22 against Idaho State…led the team with a .424 on-base percentage… had 14 walks and a team-high 18 hit by pitches…had five stolen bases in seven attempts...batted .212...had the most sacrifice bunts on the roster with five...had a four-game hit streak including a 2-for-4 game against Sacramento State on Apr. 16...played primarily at shortstop but also saw time at catcher, second base, and the outfield.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY’S:
AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Alaan comes from Art U where she started 53 games and appeared in 55 of the team's 58 contests. The utility player led the Urban Knights with a .470 on-base percentage and also ranked among the team's best in batting average (.316) and slugging percentage (.434). Alaan broke Art U's program record with an incredible 30 hit by pitches in 2018 and helped her team achieve a program-best 40-18 record.

HIGH SCHOOL: Received Rookie of the Year in 2014-15 season...she achieved 2nd All-Team in 2014-15...made 1st Team All-League...received MVP during the 2016-17 year...achieved 2nd team All-League in 2016-17...was honored for the Panther Award and the All Academic award during 2016-17...made 2nd team All-League in 2017-18.
