AS A JUNIOR (2020): Appeared in 13 games during his junior season, making 12 starts while battling an injury late in the year…finished sixth in the WCC with a .396 batting average…added an OBP of .442 and a slugging percentage of .417…only struck out twice in 53 plate appearances, the ninth toughest to strikeout hitter in the NCAA…began the season with a ten-game hitting streak, recording at least two hits in seven of those games, and three hits in two more…scored three times in the Gaels first win of the season on February 16 against Sam Houston State…led the team with three stolen bases and was never caught.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in 49 games and started in 42 for the Gaels during the 2019 season, primarily at the third base and second base positions...Recorded 45 total hits including eight doubles while collecting 20 RBIs and drawing the walk ten times...Had two four-hit games: one on March 5, 2019 against Sacramento State and another on April 14 versus San Francisco...Stole three bases including one in the 2019 season opener against Washington State...Recorded 65 assists and only three errors throughout the entire season...Ended the year with a .278 batting average, .344 OBP, and a slugging percentage of .327
AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Appeared in 38 games for Saint Mary's and started in 27 of those games ... Recorded 94 at bats with a total of 16 RBIs and seven doubles ... Ended the season hitting .319 with an on-base percentage of .440 which was highest on the team of players who played in over 35 games ... Collected a critical RBI in the Gaels' final game of the season against LMU that almost secured them a spot in the WCC Tournament ... Hit the go-ahead double in the ninth inning of the April 20 game against Pacific to secure the 4-3 after battling to a full count.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A three-time letterwinner at Heritage High School in Brentwood, Calif., graduating in 2017 ... Named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American, as well as Perfect Game Underclass Honorable Mention in 2015 and '16 ... A career .340 hitter in three varsity seasons, he hit .392 as a senior in 2017 with 11 RBIs and 10 extra-base hits ... Helped lead the Patriots to back-to-back Bay Valley League championships in '15 and '16, including an undefeated 10-0 league campaign as a sophomore in '15 ... Was teammates at Heritage with current Gael Kevin Milam on those '15 and '16 teams ... Patriots also made consecutive appearances in the California Interscholastic Federation North Coast Section semifinals in 2016 and '17.
