CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
AS A JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in a career-best 44 games, making 32 starts during her third season...saw time at second base and hit .205 on the year...finished second on the team and tied for fifth in the WCC with 13 stolen bases...finished the year with the third-best fielding percentage among qualified fielders for SMC...scored the fourth most runs on the team (13) and tied for the team lead with three triples...had multi-hit games against Northern Colorado (February 26) and UC Davis (April 4)...scored three times against Sacramento State on February 25...named Honorable Mention All-WCC following the year.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022): Appeared in 11 games as a pinch runner for the Gaels before missing the remainder of the season due to injury...scored seven runs and swiped three bases.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021): Appeared in 34 games and started in 33 … made her collegiate debut against Nevada on Feb. 11 … led the team and was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases … tied for second on the team with 10 walks … doubled and drove in three runs in the season finale against Loyola Marymount … finished the season batting .195 with a .290 on base percentage, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Montelongo was a multi-sport varsity athlete at Kingsburg, having lettered all four years in both softball and soccer ... as a junior and sophomore, she was voted Team MVP while also being named First Team All-Central Sequoia League ... in 2018, she was chosen as the MVP of her league and a year later, helped lead her school to win the CIF Central Section D2 Championship ... as a junior, she batted .380, scored 39 runs, and ripped four homers as well as 10 doubles ... also plays on the women's soccer team.
