AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Went 4-5 with a 3.43 ERA across 81.1 innings in his first season at Saint Mary's...led the Gaels in innings pitched, WHIP (0.93), and fewest walks per nine innings (1.44)...his .209 opponent's batting average was the lowest among Gael starting pitchers...in his 14 appearances (all starts), he went at least six innings in eight of those starts...in his first five starts at Saint Mary's, he threw 34.1 innings while allowing just four earned runs (1.05 ERA), 15 hits, and two walks with 24 strikeouts...earned Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week after not allowing an earned run in seven innings against San Diego on March 20, picking up the win...pitched eight innings in a Gaels win on April 2 against Portland, allowing just five hits and two runs.
