Biography

AS A SENIOR (2024): Made 17 relief appearances for the Gaels and pitched 11.2 innings... Finished with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.80 WHIP... Allowed 10 hits and struck out 13 batters... Threw a season high two innings, not allowing a hit and striking out two batters in a relief appearance vs. Nevada.   

AS A JUNIOR (2023): Made 20 appearances…..struck out 26 over 17 innings….finished with a 9.53 ERA…. In a start against University of Illinois-Chicago, recorded a season-high 5 innings and a season-high 8 strikeouts

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022) – The left hander appeared seven times for the Gaels last season, tallying 16.0 IP…Cuffe posted a 0-0 record, and finished the season with a 3.38 ERA…allowed just 11 hits and six earned run... Opponents hit just .180 against him.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Transfer from Abilene Christian University … as a freshman there made four appearances, throwing two innings allowing no runs on just one hit … went to Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA, where he lettered in baseball, was named first team all-league as a senior, was named second team all-league as a junior, and named all-metro honorable mention... Led the Sierra Foothill league with a 1.37 ERA and 69 strikeouts his senior year of high school... Had an opponent batting average of .198... Career: 94.1 innings pitched with a 1.78 ERA and 105 strikeouts.
