AS A SENIOR (2022-2023)
Cross Country: Ran in three races during the fall season…finished 50th in 8k at the USF Invite with a time of 26:03.7
Track: In the spring, Castro 11 races…set best times in the indoor season at the Portland Indoor 1 with 2:12.39 800m and a 4:40.02 mile…set best times in the 5000m at the Mike Fanelli Classic with a time of 15:29.06, and the 1500m at the Brutus Hamilton Invite with a time of 4:15.40
AS A JUNIOR (2021-22)
Cross Country: Participated in four races for the Gaels during his junior season...made his season debut with a 37th place finish at the San Francisco Invite on September 4...set a personal record after improving in his first three races of the season, culminating in a 25:30.1 at the Bronco Invitational on October 16.
Track: Set personal records in three different events during the 2022 track season...began the year with consecutive PRs: first in the 3000m at the West Coast Opener (8:57.87) and then again at the Aggie Open in the 1500m (4:16.73)...ran mostly the 5000m and 10000m in the latter part of the season...set a personal record in the 800m at the Hartnell Open with a 2:13.75...best finish of the year came at the Cal Poly Invitational with a 9th place finish in the 5000m.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21)
Cross Country: Raced in both events during the shortened 2021 spring cross country season...began the year with his best mark and finish, a ninth-place result at the Jessup Invite on February 6 and a time of 27:04.1
Track: Competed in seven different meets for the Gaels during his first track season in Moraga...ended the season with four PRs across four different events...his first PR came in the 3000m when he ran it in 9:23.41 at the State Center Invitational, good for tenth-place overall...in his next race, at the APU Distance Carnival on April 3, he ran the 5000m in 15;30.96...his third-straight PR came in the 10000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational when he finished in 32:20.77...final PR came in the 1500m in the next race at the Fresno State Invitational, with a time of 4:20.08...helped the Gaels finish second in the 4x400m relay at the SCU Bay Area Duals with a 3;37.09.
HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of Bishop Alemany High School. From Palmdale, CA
Athletics: Was named Alemany XC MVP in 2018 and 2019. Ran a personal best of 27:00 in the 8k at Notre Dame de Namur University.
