AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
Indoor: Appeared in 18 matches in her second season after battling an ankle injury in the middle of the year...was much improved at the net in limited time, going from four blocks as a freshman to 20 blocks as a sophomore, which was sixth-most on the team...had six blocks on the road at Gonzaga on September 24, which proved to be her best match of the season, with a season-best eight kills...she also had eight kills against Gonzaga at home on November 17.
Beach: Did not appear in any matches during her secondseason of beach volleyball.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)
Indoor: Appeared in 15 matches and made five starts during her freshman season...finished with the fifth-best hitting percentage on the team at .241, the highest mark among freshmen on the team...registered 54 kills, 48 digs, 10 aces, and four blocks...made her collegiate debut at the Rumble in the Rockies on August 27 and recorded her first kill and two aces against Siena...broke out against LMU in as a starter on October 7, putting up 12 kills and nine digs, along with two aces...her other 10-kill performance came at home against Portland on October 28...recorded 10 digs for the first time against San Diego on November 18.
Beach: Did not appear in a match as a freshman
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY’S: Graduate of Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona...not only was she a volleyball star at Mountain View, but she excelled in track as well, where she lettered once in addition to her four years of varsity volleyball...was stellar at the high school level, earning All-Region honors a pair of times...the Toros were a top-tier school with Reed on the roster, becoming champions of the region in 2019 and 2020...on the club side, Reed helped Club Blue win the Gold Division Championship in 2019.
Favorite volleyball memory: exploring Wyoming on travel trip freshman year then sweeping them in the tournament
Favorite holiday: 4th of July!
What do you love most about Saint Mary’s: The student athlete life and the beautiful campus
Favorite thing about SMC Volleyball: The daily mental and physical grind to get better at the sport I love, on and off the court. As well as the coaches and teammates who push me to achieve that
Favorite food or meal: In N Out
