AS A JUNIOR (2023-2024): After fighting through injury last season, the Canadian showed heart and dedication to make her return to the court…grabbed 7 wins in the fall and finished the dual season with a 9-5 record in singles at the #3 and #4 positions respectively…Silva clinched a huge 4-3 win over Big Sky Conference Champions Sacramento State…had a 16-12 overall record in doubles…with Sofia Daryaie as her partner went 14-11 overall…2-1 overall record with Olivia Rook…earned ITA Scholar-Athlete award.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-2023): Silva was one of the Gaels most consistent players all season long…lead the team in singles wins with a 15-7 overall record…featured in 13 total doubles matches…both doubles wins coming against high-profile teams in Iowa and Fresno St…. named to the CSC All-District team for having a 3.92 GPA as a Biology major…named to WCC All-Academic team along with her teammates Hovda and Harris

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Silva hails from Vancouver, Canada...as a junior tennis player, Silva competed in numerous nationals and internationals...reached finals of j5 doubles and three semis of j4s, finals of u16 nationals doubles, semis of u18 doubles, 6th at u16 nationals, 5th at u18 nationals...reached a top 15 ranking in Canada and top 3 in BC...outside of tennis, Silva has won countless provincial tournaments as a golfer...hobbies include hiking, reading, and spending time socializing with friends...family includes her father, Daniel, her mother Anabela, and her two sisters Jessica and Daniella

WHY SMC?
