Indoor track season got underway this past weekend, with multiple Gaels competing at the Silver State Invitational in Reno, Nevada. One Gael at the event, shined brighter than silver, as Jaden DeSouza set the gold standard in the 600m race, earning her Shamrock Student-Athlete of the Week honors. She became the first women's track runner to win the award since Rayna Stanziano a season ago.
