MORAGA, Calif — Saint Mary's (2-0) will look to remain undefeated this season as they host the Marist Red Foxes tomorrow afternoon in Saint Mary's Stadium.

The Gaels are on a two-game winning streak with their last win coming against Detroit Mercy. Anders Engebretsen scored both goals during the game, which brought his total up to four goals over the weekend and resulted in being named WCC Player of the Week.

Saint Mary's has yet to allow a goal this season and has totaled eight goals in their two matches. The Gaels have outshot their opponents 24-17 and taken twice as many corner kicks as they've allowed.

The Red Foxes are currently 0-1 this season with their only match ending in a 4-3 loss to Albany. Following their game against the Gaels, they will travel to Stockton for a match against Pacific.

Last season, Marist was 7-10-1 and was 3-6-1 in conference play. Leading the charge for the Red Foxes in 2017 was then-freshman Allen Gavilanes who recorded 25 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 18 games. Marist utilized four different goalkeepers last season with their regular starter Mark Rajovic graduating in the spring.

The Red Foxes took 43 more corner kicks than their opposition in 2017 and averaged just under 15 shots per game. The team also collected 30 assists on their 27 goals during the season.

Friday's meeting between the two teams will be the first contest in school history for either club.
