Saint Mary's played three doubles matches on the first day of their spring schedule.
BERKELEY, Calif. — The Gaels opened their spring season with tournament action at the Cal Winter Invite on Friday.
THE DRAW
Saint Mary's played three doubles matches on the first day of the tournament but unfortunately dropped all three to the host, Cal.
On doubles' Court 1, Hind Abdelouahid and Chloe Goyette squared off against No. 17 Anna Bright/Jasie Dunk but dropped the contest, 6-1. Clementine Clement and Liesl Pieters paired up as the Gaels' second doubles tandem while Jordan Harris and Aubane Ville teamed up on Court 3 but both duos also fell to Cal in 6-2 fashion.
Saint Mary's did not play any singles matches on the day.
