MORAGA, Calif. - The first two WCC games of the 2021-22 season for the Saint Mary's Women's Basketball team will be postponed due to COVID-related issues within the Santa Clara and Pepperdine programs.

The conference opener with Santa Clara was slated to be played at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30 in Santa Clara, Calif. and the Pepperdine game was schedule for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 1 in Malibu, Calif. The programs will work with the WCC to reschedule the games at a later date.

The Gaels first WCC game of the season will now be at home against LMU on January 6 at 6:30 p.m. The team will honor senior Taycee Wedin who scored her 1,000th career point during the Gaels last home game.
