Biography

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018): The only player to play and start in all 54 games for the Gaels during 2018 ... Collected 57 hits with nine doubles and was second on the team for the most RBIs with 26 ... Ended the season hitting .271 with a slugging percentage of .314 and an on-base percentage of .316 ... Recorded at least six three-hit games during the season including during the 15-hit game for the Gaels on April 24 against Nevada ... Went 3-for-4 in the final game against Xavier in which his two-out, two-run singled helped secure the three-game sweep of the Musketeers on March 5 ... Made a pivotal steal during the March 31 game against Gonzaga that would tie the game 1-1 and allow Brett Rasso to later hit the winning double in the 12th inning to give the Gaels the game and series win.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017): Named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team … Appeared in 56 games while playing his first 10 games as an outfielder and the rest at second base … Led the team with a .335 batting average and was second with 74 hits, 44 RBIs, and a .520 slugging percentage … A doubles machine with a team-leading 21 two-baggers, Haus also led the team alongside Joey Fiske with 25 multi-hit games … Recorded a team second-best with 13 multiple RBI games and finished third best on team with six home runs … Was 3rd in on base percentage of .398 … Had multiple hits in six straight games between April 28-May 6 and had four games during that streak with three or more … Notched two WCC Player of the Week awards by collecting seven RBIs and slugging .688 during the week of February 27– March 5 and after hitting .500 and slugging .786 during the week of April 17-23 … Had a season-high four hits and a clutch solo home-run against Pacific on April 21 ... Went 17 consecutive games without committing an error at second base from April 22-May 20 … Finished 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs to help sweep Portland in 11-5 win on March 26 … Extended his second-longest hitting streak (7) in WCC Tournament opener against Gonzaga on May 25 … Rejoined the North Adams SteepleCats to play summer ball in the NECBL in Massachusetts.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016): Named to the All-WCC Freshman Team ... Appeared in 55 games and started in 48 of them as primarily an outfielder … Made his collegiate debut on Opening Day versus Seattle on Feb. 19, starting in left field and batting leadoff in his first college game. He'd go 3 for 5 with a double, RBI, stolen base and three runs scored ... Tallied up 49 hits and 26 RBIs during the season … Racked up a season-high four RBIs in a 15-5 win against Central Michigan on Feb. 26 … Recorded his first home run in a 7-2 winning effort against Utah on March 12 … Hit his second home run of the season in a close loss to Loyola Marymount on May 8 … Totaled only two errors during the season … Appeared as a pinch hitter in the West Coast Conference Championships and NCAA Championships … Tallied up a four-game hit streak recording one double each game from Mar. 5-15 and finished the year with 13 doubles in total ... Joined the North Adams Steeple Cats to play summer ball in the NECBL in Massachussetts.

SUMMER BALL (2015): Was named the MVP of the Hamptons (N.Y.) League after winning the league batting title with a .360 average and finishing among the league's top-10 in hits, RBIs and runs scored ... Was also the MVP of the league's all-star game with a 2 for 3 performance and a two-run home run ... Helped lead his Shelter Island Bucks team to winning the 2015 Hamptons League championship ... Hit .435 with four RBIs and six runs scored in five playoff games ... Only struck out 10 times in over 160 at-bats during the summer.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Redshirt season.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Was a four-year varsity standout for Peninsula High School in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif., graduating in 2014 ... Played in over 110 varsity games for the Panthers after starting as a freshman, playing almost every position, but primarily third base, shortstop and center field ... Hit .350 or better in all four of his varsity seasons, including a career-best .393 as a senior in 2014 ... Notched 15 doubles, scored 24 runs and carried a .986 OPS (on-base plus slugging) with 17 RBIs as a senior ... Helped lead Peninsula to three California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section playoff appearances, including the Division II first round (2011), Division III second round (2014) and Division III quarterfinals (2013) ... Hit .379 as a junior (2013) and freshman (2011) ... Also stole 19 bases in his high school career, including 10 as a senior.
