PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: The midfielder/forward spent his freshman year playing soccer abroad in Spain, before returning to Archie Williams High School... During his senior season, Benson scored 29 goals and had 5 assists while leading the falcons to an NCS win and a second-place finish in NorCal... The playing style of the soccer team and the small class sizes were just two factors that helped Benson choose Saint Mary’s.
