Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2024): Did not appear in a game this season. 

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Tyler Covil joined the Gaels men's soccer program as a true freshman from Cary, North Carolina. Covil attended Green Hope High School and played his club soccer with North Carolina FC Academy. During the 2023-24 season with NCFC, he finished with a pair of goals and 9 assists as a defender for the club. They were able to qualify for the ECNL playoffs four years in a row and reached the semifinals and quarters in two of those years. Covil was also a two-time ECNL Mid-Atlantic First Team All-Conference selection and a co-captain at NCFC Academy.
