Biography

AS A SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 17 games and made 14 starts for the Gaels... Finished his senior campaign with three assists and 1,222 minutes of action... Recorded eight 90-minute games and had assists in back-to-back games to start the season (Detroit Mercy and Utah Tech).

AS A JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 18 games with 10 starts... registered three shots including one on goal at Michigan State... racked up 1,037 minutes played, including four games of the full 90 minutes and one game of 89 minutes played at San Jose State... named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention with a 3.60 GPA.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Appeared in seven matches on the year starting six of them ... took four shots on the year with three on goal ... played a career high 90 minutes against San Jose St. ... helped the defense record 8 clean sheets on the year. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Played in six matches off the bench (season played during spring of 2021) … made his collegiate debut against Pacific on Feb. 17 … played a season-high 42 minutes against Pacific and Portland … took two shots against LMU.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Stephens is a native of Las Vegas and played at the same club team as his new Gael teammate Brophy Howard, Las Vegas Sports Academy. At his high school, Stephens was a four-year starter and played various offensive positions. Across 53 games in his career, he racked up 36 goals and 13 assists for a total of 85 points. For his efforts, Stephens picked up All-Division, All-Region, and All-State recognition. With his club team, Stephens scored over 120 goals across five seasons and helped them win multiple state, regional, and league championships. Stephens is currently undecided for his major but has goals of moving back to Las Vegas and starting a business after graduating.
