AS A JUNIOR (2022): Played in 17 games with 16 starts and racked up 1410 minutes... A stalwart of the Gaels defense, he was named a First-Team All-WCC Defender... Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention with a 3.50 GPA... Scored a goal at UC Irvine for his first collegiate goal.

AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Started all nine matches (season played during spring of 2021) … named WCC Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 23 for helping the Gaels record clean sheets against Pacific and Santa Clara … tallied four assists … had a two-assist game against Portland on Apr. 17 … played every minute of the season on the backline … tied for the team lead in total minutes (842) … helped SMC record four clean sheets to begin the season … took six shots with five coming on goal.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Sterobo hails from Denmark and played for the club Næsby Boldklub as a center back. Last year, Sterobo captained his team to win the Danish Cup in his region and in 2018 helped his high school win a national championship against other business schools. Sterobo plans to study business administration while in Moraga and would like to work in the business world after graduation.
