Biography

AS A SENIOR (2023): Saw time in 39 games during her final season as a Gael, making 33 starts in right field...hit .192 with 15 hits on the year, while finishing third on the team with seven stolen bases...one of two qualifying hitters to have a strikeout to walk ratio of 1.0 or lower (1.0)...her lone double on the year came against Hawaii on February 10, the opening day of the season...named Academic All-District through College Sports Communicators following the season.

AS A JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 22 games and made nine starts late in the season in 2022...finished the season with a .360 batting average and a .407 on-base percentage...led the Gaels with seven stolen bases in nine tries...had a five-game hitting streak over the final two weeks of West Coast Conference play...posted a .400 batting average in conference games...had multi-hit performances against Santa Clara on April 23 (drove in two runs) and at home against Pacific on May 1, which featured her first collegiate double...named All-WCC honorable mention following the year.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Appeared in 28 games and started in seven … named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … scored a run in four consecutive games from Feb. 28 to Mar. 7 … went 4-for-5 on stolen base attempts ... finished the season with a single, four stolen bases, a .200 on base percentage, and 11 runs scored.

AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Made an appearance in 25 games and had six starts … mostly used as a pinch-runner .... recorded her first career hit against Fordham on Feb. 16 … made her first career start against Sacramento State on Feb. 7 ... matched the team high of four stolen bases with four attempts ... had three walks ... scored nine runs. 

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Waters earned three varsity letters during her high school career and helped her team in winning the North Coast Section Championship in 2016 ... she placed first with her team in the Reno Tournament Championship while she was also named All-Tournament Player in the Livermore Stampede ... she also received First Team All-League of Diablo Athletic League two years in a row and was named Female Athlete of the Year for 2018-19.
