PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S:
Primarily a third baseman, Mia Negrete is one of six Gaels in the incoming class of 2026 to hail from Southern California. A four year varsity player, Negrete helped her team to an Eastern League Title in 2024, and was named All-Eastern League in 2024 and 2023. Negrete spent time at Garfield High School, but finished her prep career at St. Paul High School, leading them to the CIF Southern Section DII Semifinals.Â
