As a Senior (2013): Selected in the 23rd round, pick No. 685 in the MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays... Earned First-Team All-West Coast Conference Honors, WCC All-Academic and CoSIDA All-Academic District VIII and WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll for academic excellence.… Breakout year included a WCC best .381 batting average and batting title, and a 36-game hitting streak which was the longest in NCAA DI in 2013… had 22 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games and two four-hit games… finished with 11 multi-RBI games… also had four assists from right field… hit safely in 36 games from March 16th through May 17th… had a six-RBI game in a win over Portland… recorded five RBI in a key win over Pepperdine… earned WCC Player of the Week honors after helping the Gaels defeat Pepperdine in a key series victory… finished the year with a .466 on-base percentage… hit .417 in conference games with a .477 on-base percentage.
As a junior (2012): Named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team...played in 52 games making 51 starts...hit .265 which was third on the team going 50-for-189...the 50 hits was tied for second on the team...scored 19 runs and drove in 26...the 26 RBI was second on the team...finished the year with 10 extra base hits tallying seven doubles, a triple and two home runs...was tied for second on the team with 13 multi-hit games and was tied for second on the team wth six multiple-RBI games...in West Coast Conference play he led the team in average (.322), hits (29), and RBI (16)...was hitting below .200 until April 15 when he errupted for 18 hits in nine games from 4/15-4/28...against Hawaii went five-for-16 with three runs scored and five RBI...hit his second home run of the season against Hawaii on 4/15...in the Santa Clara series he went 8-for-12 with four runs scored and two RBI, for his efforts he was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week...finished with nine multi-hit games in 24 WCC contests...hi .324 from the right and .321 from the left side in WCC play...hit .289 with runners in scoring position in conference action.
Summer League (2011): Was named a Top-15 Position Player for the Cal Ripkin League according to CollegeSummerBaseball.net...played with teammates Martin Agosta and Patrick Keane for the Bethesda Big Train which was named the No. 1 College Summer ball team according to PerfectGame.org...named to the Cal Ripkin League All-Star team...finished the summer with a .314 batting average going 38-for-121...clubbed seven doubles, two triples, and two home runs...finished third on the team in average, second in home runs and fourth in RBI (22).
As a sophomore (2011): Named to the All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention Team...was also named to the 2011 Spring All-Academic Team...played in 55 games starting 54 in 2011...finished second on the team with a .292 batting average, going 61-for-209...set career-highs in several offensive statistical categories: average (.292), games played (55), starts (54), at-bats (209), hits (61), doubles (17), total bases (91), walks (15) and stolen bases (five)...tied for the team lead with 20 multi-hit games...second on the team with seven multiple-RBI games...had a 10-game hitting streak that was the third longest of the season for the team from 4/30-5/10...during that streak he had five multi-hit games...the switch hitter hit .333 from the right side and .277 from the left...hit .366 to lead off an inning and .583 with runners on third...in conference play he hit .289 going 22-for-76, his 22 hits was second most on the team...hit two massive home runs in the win over Stanford on 4/26, it was the first multi-homerun game of the year for the Gaels...was second on the team with a .435 slugging percentage and third on the team with a .342 on base percentage...was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts...ranked in the top-25 in several offensive categories in the West Coast Conference...was seventh in doubles (17), eighth in total bases, tied for 14th in hits, 14th in slugging percentage, 19th in batting average and tied for 25th with 25 RBI's...led all SMC outfielders with five assists and recorded 100 putouts.
As a freshman (2010): Played in 49-of-52 games with 43 appearances in the starting line-up as an outfielder...finished his first season at SMC with a .290 batting average...was fourth on the team with 49 hits, tied for the team lead with 11 doubles and two triples, and was fourth on the squad with seven home runs...was 2-for-3 with two RBI in the season opener against San Jose State...hit his first career home run on Mar. 19 against Tulane...had a two home run game against Southern Mississippi on Apr. 1, when he was 3-for-5 with a career-high five RBI in a 19-11 win...had a three-run home run in the series finale at Santa Clara...homered in the first game of the series versus Loyola Marymount...was 4-for-4 with a HR, two RBI and three runs scored in the series opener against Gonzaga...had two doubles in three different games...had 15 multiple hit games, including one three hit and one four hit game...posted a season-long eight-game hitting streak from Feb. 28-Mar. 19.
High School: An outfielder from Temecula, CA, was a three-year letter winner in baseball at Temecula Valley High School...helped his team to a conference championship in the Southwestern League's Division 1, and a final ranking of 15 in California his senior year...in his final two seasons at Temecula Valley HS, he combined for 50 hits, nine of them by way of the home run, 40 runs batted in, and 25 stolen bases...was recognized as the best defensive player by his peers in 2009...his efforts did not stop in the classroom, as he was named to the 2008-2009 United States Scholar Athlete Team.
