2015 (Freshman): Played a valuable role as the lead left-hander out of the Saint Mary's bullpen in his first season as a Gael ... appeared in 14 games (three starts) and compiled a 2-2 record and 4.95 ERA ... pitched 20 innings and allowed 22 hits, 13 runs (11 earned), struck out 14 and walked 10 ... made his collegiate debut on opening day when he faced one batter in relief at Seattle ... earned his first collegiate win in front of friends and family when he worked three innings of strong relief in an 8-6 win over San Jose State at Municipal Stadium ... turned his first start into his second win of the season on March 25 when he pitched five innings and allowed just one run in a 17-1 win over Northwestern.
High School: Prepped at Willow Glen High in San Jose, Calif. alongside fellow Gael Matt Toscano ... went 6-4 with a 1.70 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched during his senior season ... earned first team All-Mount Hamilton Division honors in the Blossom Valley Athletic League ... missed the 2013 season due to injury sustained midway through a sophomore season spent on the varsity level ... threw 30 innings as a sophomore and 23.1 as a freshman on the varsity team ... plans to study Business at Saint Mary's.
