SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference announced the 2018 Women's Soccer All-Conference Team on Tuesday and three Gaels were featured, headlined by Maya Alcantara's All-Freshman Team selection.
Alcantara, a defender, was selected for her superb play on the backline this season which helped Saint Mary's shut out their opposition five times. The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native played in 18 matches for the Gaels and started 14 of those contests. She scored her first career goal in the team's third match of the season against Vermont.
Saint Mary's also had two players named all-conference honorable mentions in junior Jaylen Crim and sophomore Kelsey Hill.
